Themba Mosai is appointed as Group Five’s interim CEO

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We are pleased to announce that the Board of Group Five has appointed Themba Mosai as the interim CEO, following the resignation of former CEO, Eric Vemer.

Themba has been with Group Five for over 13 years and has been an active and strategic member of the executive team since 2014 as head of the group’s Developments business. He has made great strides in enhancing the group’s position across target African geographies, and has played a major role in securing new work as well as resolving legacy matters in key markets. Prior to leading the Developments business, Themba served as Managing Director of Intertoll Africa, a wholly owned subsidiary of Group Five, and a business he successfully led for seven years.

Themba has throughout his career in the group demonstrated the ability to work successfully in different environments, designing and leading strategies which resulted in impressive value creation. He is an astute business leader and a strong relationship builder. He is technical and practical. With his Electrical Engineering qualification from Wits University, an MBA degree which he obtained cum laude from Stellenbosch Business School, and a track record of success as a business leader, Themba is an outstanding candidate for the role.

The Board has commenced a formal search for a CEO.
